Dr. Karlin grew up in Northwest Indiana and attended Marian Catholic High School. She is very familiar with Flossmoor Animal Hospital because she worked as a veterinary assistant and client care coordinator for a number of summers throughout her schooling. She attended Purdue University for her undergraduate degree and was accepted a year early into the veterinary medicine program. She graduated from Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and joined our team shortly thereafter. Dr. Karlin loves building bonds with clients and their pets and has diverse interests in both medicine and surgery. She is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
In her free time, Dr. Karlin has been busy planning her wedding which will be in August 2018. She also enjoys yoga and spending time with her two adopted dogs, Leia, a young Dutch Shepherd and her fifteen-year-old Beagle mix Carter.
